When a family grows, the needs and considering facts also increase. Parents with children need an accommodation that suits with the needs of a family. If so many parents have been relying on us, on the Island of Elba, for their holidays for over 50 years, it’s because they know that if the kids have fun also the adults will!

At “La Valdana” children can have fun in the swimming pool with low water, at the equipped playground, tennis, table tennis and take full advantage of the many green areas in the Residence to enjoy your favourite sport. At the reception we rent, free of charge, tennis and table tennis equipment, soccer-, basket- and volleyball, playing cards, uno cards, board games, books and balls for table football. A Play Station 3 with some games and 2 controllers is also available at a cost of € 5,00 per day.

Equipment for children and babies is free if brought by you or with a supplement of € 8,00/night or € 50,00/week if provided by us on reservation (includes 1 camping bed or 1 side rail, 1 high chair, 1 baby bath, 1 potty).

Our residence formula allows you to have a kitchen where you can prepare food for the kids and the possibility of staying in an independent apartment enjoying full autonomy. At our bar you also have a microwave and a boiler at your disposal.

The nearby beaches of Lido di Capoliveri and Laconaare also among the most “family friendly” on the island with their fine sand low waters and the many services that offer comfort and leisure.

If your children love the sea and are a little adventurous, they can take kayaking or diving courses or go snorkeling with you, watching all the wonderful sea creatures that populate the depths of Elba. They can also participate in sailing courses that offer the many sailing clubs on the coast.

Even making excursions to the peaks of the Tuscan Archipelago National Park is an unforgettable experience that allows to get totally immersed in nature! Whether on horseback, by bike or on foot it doesn’t matter.

To visit nearby:

– The Piccola Miniera “small mine”: a very special, fun and engaging mineral museum for children: the visit is carried out on a train that crosses the inside of the mine and shows the various aspects of a miner’s life. At the end of the visit, there are also laboratories where all the processes a mineral needs are explained.

– The Aquarium, which has more than 80 tanks and more than 150 species of aquatic animals including starfish, crustaceans, and the inevitable turtles.

– The Isola dei Pirati Go Kart and the Arcobaleno Playground, (inflatables, trampolines and baby corner) will make you end a wonderful family day with fun for everybody.

– New: Elba’s first water is rising a few kilometers from our village, stay tuned!
